PEEP had a great meeting on how to shoot Ice! Lots of different kinds of ice and lighting were used in this fun meeting!
PEEP was welcomed by the wonderful Zin Valle Vinyards for a great photo shoot. And of course, wine!
PEEP took a little photowalk to Mesilla NM for their May 2025 Meeting, enjoying the sites and meeting up with some members of the DAPC.

Photographer Victor Gibbs led PEEP on a trip to Alaska and a photoshoot of the Northern Lights with his exciting talk about how he makes it to the Yukon and beyond almost every year. A great talk and a very COOL time!
Tim Holt led PEEP through a l;ively discussion on how to really SEE pphotographs vs. just looking at them. Using a series of famus photos from the 1920's to the present, PEEPers spent time learning that what you see isnt always what is there. PEEP celebrated Valentine's Day 2025 at the Photographer's Collaborative by having the first-ever Champagne, Candy and Cameras event. About 70 people attended the night og bubbly and buddies!
The group kicked off 2025 by leanring about how to create a Hockney Joiner, a collage technique developed by artist David Hockney. Using older image we learned what a joiner was as well as how to use layers in your editing software to create one.
Also, our friends at Geometrical provided 40 Pocket tripods for members that signed up to renew their memberships! Thanks Geometrical!
PEEP visited Art Masters Framing on Mesa and had expert framer Doug Woloschek talk about how to improve our photos with proper matting techniques.
Doug walked us through materials, methods and even talked about pricing. We appreciate his efforts and thank Art Masters for hosting this meeting. We also had our third annual holiday print exchange!
PEEP had our first-ever wine tasting at the Collaborative. Thank you Zin Valle Vineyards for your generous support of this event.

In a first for any photo club in the El Paso area, PEEP has opened a Photographer's Collaborative. The Grand Opening Was Thursday, Nov 7, 2024.
In a truly unique experience, PEEP used the El Paso streetcar to be our chariot during the Kelby 2024 Worldwide Photo Walk! We had participants from as far away as Pecos Texas!
Members experienced the work of a true photography master when they visited the Clyde Butcher exhbit at the Las Cruces Museum of Art.
Members practiced some quick DIY creativity activities designed to get you aut of a creative rut.
PEEP took to the streets of South Central El Paso to shoot the works of the artists that left their mark at the recent Borderlan Jam, an annual grafitti artist challenge that takes place on severla warehouse walls off of South Cotton street. We were joined by some awesome models from the Borderland Roller Derby!

Our June 2024 meeting was an excellent talk by digital artist Storm Sermay on using various layers, selction tools and masks to create images.
Our May 2024 meeting was held at the Whoopie Bowl Antique Mall in Vinton, where tons of great photo opportunities awaited in an unusual setting. Take for instance, this Vallarie Enriquez's mask shot as an example.
Our March meeting was a trip to teh Sunland Park Racetrack where we learned a little about betting on horses and a lot on taking pictures of them. A great turnout of over 35 members. Nancy Swanson's great image was typical of the member's great work!
Let by local Photographer Ryan Stead, members of PEEP invaded teh El PAso Whole Foods Market for a morning of food photography. Ryan helped members set up and shoot their work, as well as critiqued some of their shots. Most attendees were using their LumeCube miniPanels as part of their workshop experience.
PEEP members recieved LumeCube Panel Mini Lights with tripods as an incentive for renewing or joining the club by Jan 1, 2024. We handed out 80 panels and 50 tripods to an overflow crowd of members! Thank you LUMECUBE for your generous support.

PEEP members learned abut some of the issues involved with copyright. Our guest speaker was Les Arms, Research Librarian at UTEP.
For the second year in a row, we held our member's print exchange where members gift-wrapped and exchanged their prints with other members.

The largest urban park in the US is right here in El Paso and PEEP kicked off their "PEEP in the Park" contest with a talk from Lydia Pagel, FMSP Interpreter.
PEEP once again did a photowalk of El Paso's largest Arts event: Chalk the Block. Lots of great street photography! Thanks to everyone that turned out.
On Saturday Oct 7, 2023, PEEP once again joined photographers from around the world in the Scott Kelby Photowalk. This year, we went from Keystone Heritage Park to Anthony Texas, approx 13 miles. We raised $100 for the Springs of Hope Orphanage in Kenya.
PEEP learned all about cropping images, from basic crops to X and Y Axis straightening to making your own DIY cropping tool.

PEEP took to the road and did one of our famous PEEPwalks from Canutillo TX to Mesilla NM on the beautiful NM 28, voted one of the most beautiful hiways in the United States. This was part of the World Photography Week celebration!
PEEP members practiced critiquing other member's work. A PEEPtique is a fun and safe place for members to have their work evaluated and commented on. An excellent learning experience.
Art, Architechture or Airplanes? Those were the three topics PEEPers shot at the EPIA.
The May 2023 meeting was a real 2 for 1 event: Depth of Field was explained by Frank Vasquez and then we all made cool Photo Montages!

PEEP had a photowalk of the public art on El Paso's westside followed by lunch.
PEEP went to Carrizozo NM, to visit the Tularosa Basin Photo Gallery, the largest photo gallery in New Mexico with over 40 photographers (all from NM), as well as do a photo shoot of this little town. Oh, and we had some amazing pizza!
All PEEP members attending the December 2022 meeting received a free copy of the book "Amazing Photography" courtesy of the club and xPozer. A $30 value! Just for being a member!

PEEP members celebrated the holidays by exchanging prints of their favorite works with other members in our first-ever Holiday Print Exchange.
PEEP meets up and shoots the annual Chalk the Block event in Downtown El Paso. But we turned it into a scavenger hunt as well!
PEEP did a photowalk of the famous Mission Trail of El Paso taking photos and videos of the three missions. We ended the day with lunch at San Elizario! This was the first time PEEP participated in the Worldwide Photowalk .
PEEP members participated in a photo critique session where member photos were displayed and members provided feedback on how their photos could be improved.
PEEP members visited the El Paso Museum of History to see the exhibit Pasos Urbanos which celebrated the sunsets and sunrises of the borderland.
Rolling Stone Cultural Ambassador and El Paso Photographer Mark Paulda presented a special video made especially for PEEP members. A special message of persistance and chasing your dreams.
PEEP members did a short photowalk of the Union Depot Saturday Art Market
