Since we come from all over the area, it's important to note there are resources outside of the Portland metro area too. If you need to relocate between cities, there are networks of resources nearly everywhere. These are resources for the Mid-Willamette Valley--Yamhill, Polk, Marion, Linn, Benton, and Lane counties including cities like Salem, McMinnville, Monmouth, Silverton, Stayton, Dallas, Independence, Newberg, Albany, Corvallis, Philomath, Eugene, and more. It is often difficult to find resources that will get folks rehoused in smaller towns, but most larger cities in OR have more resources.
Please see the map below for resources. Under this map, there is more information on how to access resources.

Visit the HOME Youth Resource Center Drop In to access this resource or call 971-273-7300. Emergency 10-bed youth shelter/group home style transitional community located in the North Salem High School area. Address is private for safety reasons. This shelter is available 24/7 to 11-18 year olds. Minors will be expected to participate in family reunification to comply with legal and program requirements, but staff DO advocate heavily for the youth's needs. Provides addiction support, parenting support, and individualized support many facilities lack the ability to provide. (editor's note: This shelter was created in memory of a dear friend of mine who slept outside and tragically lost her life at 17, right before I graduated. More spaces like this have opened since, and I sincerely hope they can do better to keep us alive.)
