ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BECOMING A VOLUNTEER AT POST'S CORNERS?
At PC we are always looking for parent/caregiver volunteers to help with various events/activities throughout the school year. These events/activities include:
the school breakfast program
hot lunch program (e.g., Subway and Pizza Days)
fundraising events (e.g., dance-a-thon, cookies for a cause)
the annual "Winter Store"
the PC staff appreciation event
the annual school book fair
HOW TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER AT POST'S CORNERS
If you are a NEW volunteer, you will have to complete:
Police Record Check - Vulnerable Sector Check - apply online through the Halton Region Police Service. Please note that the application fee is $30 and that it could take up to a month (or more) for your application to be processed.
Once the Volunteer Application Form and the Record Check have been completed, please provide the school office with a copy of the both.
If you are a RETURNING volunteer and already have a Police Record Check on file with the school, you will be asked to complete the "HDSB Annual Offence Declaration Form". You may obtain and complete a copy of this form, from the school office.
Once the appropriate paperwork has been completed, please email the school council co-chairs at pcps.schoolcouncil@gmail.com, to express your interest in volunteering.
