PC BREAKFAST PROGRAM
The Post's Corners Breakfast Program is a volunteer-run, which aims to provide students with free, healthy snacks at any time throughout the school day. Students can get snacks in two ways:
1) Breakfast Cart - each morning between the first (8:53 am)and second (9:00 am) bell, students can access their designated breakfast cart to grab a morning snack. Offerings will include items from three food groups (protein, grains, fruits & vegetables). Example items: apples, bananas, applesauce, yogurt, cheese strings, milk, muffins, crackers and/or granola bars.
2) Nutrition Bins - nutrition bins will be located by the office and stocked with items such as apple sauce, granola bars, crackers, dry cereal and fruit puree pouches.
The nutrition program is generously supported by Halton Food for Thought and monetary donations from our school community. If you are interested in donating to the program, you can do so, through School Cash Online (Click on "Make a Donation" and select "Support for Breakfast Program"). The program would also not be possible without the amazing parent/caregiver/student volunteers who volunteer their time each week!!
