PCOM Assistant Director
Mary Hosick
On behalf of the PCOM Board of Directors and myself, I would introduce a new team member to our staff, Mary Hosick! Mary will fill the position of PCOM Assistant Director.
Mary is a wife to Jeremy and a mother to their two precious children Lydia, 9 and Oliver, 7. Mary has an impressive background in many facets of Christian ministry and PCOM was a perfect fit to her most recent endeavor. As a member of the Watson Run church, she uses her passion for encouraging, supporting, and mentoring women where she serves as co-leader of the EMBRACE Grace ministry. EMBRACE Grace at WRC has partnered with PCOM and now offers this program within the doors of PCOM on Wednesday mornings. Mary previously served as a member of the MOPS Leadership Team. Her position was Leader of the Discussion Group Leaders and also the creative activity portion of the program.
Mary has served as a PCOM Volunteer since early fall of 2022. She has a wonderful natural rapport with the clients and her love for people shines through.
Please join me in welcoming Mary. The Lord is growing and changing PCOM and we are thrilled to have you on the team!
February1, 2023.
We are inviting Pastors who support PCOM to spend a day, a few hours a week/month, or just some time a couple times a year within the walls of PCOM.
To meet with the staff to pray with them and just be in the center to be available for an expectant father or a dad to converse with when they come in for an appointment or just stop in for diapers.
We feel it would be beneficial to our clients.
Contact the Center 814-333-6567.
Kay's Boutique:
Our Maternity area has been rejuvenated and repurposed using Kay's first desk from the early days of the Center. With Martha's inspiration we now have Kay's Boutique named in honor of Kay Gage, our director for 31 years!
Thank you Martha Rowland and Beth Bustamante for the finishing touches of the curtains and sign!

Kay Gage
A significant change is coming to the Pregnancy Center of Meadville (PCOM). It is with regret that we announce that after 31 years serving the Lord at PCOM, our Director, Kay Gage, has retired.
Kay is a strong woman of faith and a committed Gospel-focused advocate for the unborn and expectant mothers. Kay joined the pregnancy Center team in 1989. After completing the Christian Action Council training, Kay served as a peer counselor during the newborn years. After heeding the Lord’s call on her heart, she accepted the position of Director of Lifehouse in 1991. January 1991 the center name Lifehouse was changed to the Pregnancy Center of Meadville, to better reflect the purpose of the center. Kay saw the the center through many changes another being moving the facility to its present location and then though it’s renovation process as we grew. Throughout her years of faithful service, Kay has been instrumental in building a community of supporters through which our Center can offer help through practical means always to serve like Jesus. Indeed, Kay has impacted generations for Christ in her time at the Pregnancy Center of Meadville. While Kay will be missed in the daily service, she will always be a part of PCOM. We praise God for Kay’s life and servant’s heart and pray for Him to restore heath to her body. Through these changing times, one constant remains, God’s Will. As PCOM continues to embrace Christ and empower women and men to make life-affirming choices, our Center will have open doors to all who come through to offer hope and help.
If you’d like to leave a message for Kay as she prepares for this next step in her walk with Christ, please post a comment below.
