Policies and Guidelines

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Windows

• Drop-off:

  • Mondays & Wednesdays 6:30AM-9:00AM, Tuesdays &Thursday 6:00AM-9:00AM BY RESERVATION ONLY

  • I arrive as early as the earliest scheduled drop off

• Pick-up:

  • Mondays & Wednesdays 12:00PM-5:00PM, Tuesdays & Thursdays 12:00PM-4:30PM BY RESERVATION ONLY

  • I leave at the last SCHEDULED pick up time

• Late fees: $10 per 15 minutes after their scheduled pick-up time. $75 overnight fee applies

• Owners are expected to arrive at the time they select on Gingr for pick-up

Payment Policies

• All clients must have a valid card on file. Cards are automatically charged at pick-up unless another form of payment is presented. 

• We accept cards and exact cash.

• Extra charges may apply for lunch services, late arrivals, or late pick-ups. 

Cancellations

• 12-24 hours before 6am of booked day --> 50% fee

• 12 hours or less before 6am of booked day --> 100% fee

• No call/no show --> Full fee, no show note added to file. 3 no shows = no more daycare

Dog Requirements

• All dogs must be up to date on required vaccinations and provide proof from a veterinarian

  • Includes: Rabies, DHPP/DHLPP, Bordetella, and a negative fecal 

• Dogs must be leashed on a standard 4-6ft leash (NO retractable leashes)

• Dogs must arrive in good health. If your dog shows signs of illness, we may refuse entry for the day. 

• Intact Dogs:

  • New males may only be accepted up to 6 months of age and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. These intact males may continue daycare up to 1 year of age, and must be neutered after 1 year. 

  • Intact females are not permitted to attend daycare during and for up to 3 weeks after their heat cycle. 

  • Pauquette Paws reserves the right to deny or discontinue daycare services for intact dogs if hormone related behaviors (mounting, marking, aggression, excessive distraction) become disruptive

• Dogs must complete a meet-and-greet evaluation before enrollment

Meals & Treats

• Lunches must be pre-portioned in a labeled bag or container with the dog's name

• We may not return leftover food

• Failure to follow guidelines may result in your dog not being fed

Behavior Expectations

• All dogs are supervised and encouraged to play/rest in balance

• Dogs who show unsafe or disruptive behaviors may be given a crate break

• Continued issues may lead to a grace period for improvement or dismissal from daycare

Owner Responsibility 

• Owners a responsible for providing accurate information about their dog's health and behavior

• Pauquette Paws is not liable for injuries resulting from normal dog play, provided proper supervision and care are in place

• Owners must update contact information, vaccination records, and payment details as needed
