I am Paula Mae F. Balano,  a student of Capiz State University - Main Campus, Roxas City, Capiz taking Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English.  I am a participant of SEA Teacher Exchange Program Batch 10. Alongside me in this program was my fellow participant, Lea Mae G. Gaton, who is a student at Capiz State University - Tapaz Satellite College, specializing in Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics. We departed from Roxas City, Capiz, Philippines, on January 30 and arrived in Kupang, Indonesia, on January 31. Our program lasted for 27 days. I was assigned at Universitas Nusa Cendana, Indonesia and later deployed to my cooperating school SMA Negeri 3 Kupang (Senior High School).  This experience provided me with the opportunity to fully immerse myself in a different educational system, gaining firsthand insight into its structure, teaching methods, and classroom dynamics. It also allowed me to interact with students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, broadening my perspective on student learning needs and approaches to education. Working in an international setting helped me refine my teaching skills by adapting to new pedagogical strategies, overcoming language barriers, and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
