Unit 5: Emerging Technologies 

In this Project, my partner and I researched two cities (outside the USA), and compared/contrasted their population and technology use. I chose Geneva as a global city, and Ava chose Moscow.  One thing  I found interesting was how small Geneva's population was. As a city with several global institutions , both private and national, I thought the population would be much larger. About  Moscow, I did not realize the extent to which the Russian Government put so many restrictions on foreign applications that the population has to rely on VPNs. 

Lesson Learned

This project taught me how to research and collaborate with a classmate on a group project. The collaboration between Ava and me was really easy. We exchanged phone numbers and started chatting. She started the project the same day, I started mine the next day, and we sent each other our projects to review. The same is true with the PowerPoint, she started it 2 days later, and I finished the rest of the slides the same night.  Ava was really great, it was a pleasure working with her.
