Hello!
My name is Carlye Feeney and I am one of the orchestra directors at Heights middle school as well as the strings teacher at Bridgeway, Parkwood and Willowbrook Elementary. This is my 9th year teaching and my 7th year in the Pattonville School District. I started playing violin in a program much like the one at Pattonville and loved it so much I never stopped! I received my Bachelors of Arts in Music and my Masters in Education from Truman State University in 2013 and am currently working my way through the Suzuki levels. While Violin is my main instrument, I have studied all the stringed instruments and enjoy performing on them all!
Outside of Pattonville, I love to perform at different events around the St. Louis area and am currently in my 6th season of performing with the St. Louis Philharmonic Orchestra, a non-profit community orchestra that performs several concerts throughout the year with a variety of music from Baroque to Modern. Please let me know if you are ever interested in attending any of these concerts! I grew up in the St. Louis area and recently moved to St. Charles where I live with my husband, two children, Emilia (4) and Neil (1) German Shepard, Riley and two cats, Avery and Serena. When not making music, I love to spend time with my family, play games with my friends, read, and play tennis!
I love what I do and am so excited to help bring music to my students! Please feel free to contact me with any questions/ concerns you might have throughout the year and I look forward to making some great music together!
I am so excited to be your orchestra teacher. My goal is to treat everyone with dignity and respect. Everyone matters! I look forward to reaching you through one of my passions: Music. Please contact me if I can be of more help @igorescheer@psdr3.org.
I am a mixture of Eastern Europe and the Middle East. I was born & raised in Ukraine, a Republic in a Former Soviet Union and the State of Israel.
