Discussion Highlights: The call reviewed the following key areas:
PMV Studies: Highlight current Peirson’s Milk-vetch data. Less than 0.5% vehicle impacts.
PMV Delisting: Bob and Vince will hold off on further action until Joe Stout facilitates a joint meeting with FWS.
Patton Valley Corridor: Discussion regarding the opening of the corridor.
Rider Habits: Reasons why vehicles do not impact the PMV
Economic Impact: The economic impact on the south dunes business community.
Bob highlighted the success that EO 14313 had at Lake Powell in restoring OHV use in the area. Vince pointed out that SO 3447 is at play as well.
It was noted that while the ASA is pursuing a separate strategy to open the corridors, Bob and Vince are offering a strategy that can be run in parallel.
