Dear parents and guardians,
This week as part of your child’s home learning we are asking your child to complete a scientific investigation/ activity.
As we are all aware, we are living in an unusual time globally and locally due to COVID 19. In order to better help your child understand and appreciate what is happening at the moment we have put together child friendly, informative activities that they can do at home.
We ask that your child read the story ‘Dr. Dog Explains Coronavirus’ by Lydia Monks. Afterwards, children have the option to write up a rhyming spell to vanish COVID or draw the items needed to wash their hands.... label them and then draw a picture or send a photo of them showing them washing their hands correctly.
Hope you enjoy this week’s learning!
Kind Regards,
Ms. Brennan

It is totally different today, Fishermen fish in boats with engines and they are made from steel and plastic. They catch lots of fish such as mackerel and herring.
