Friendship Bracelets
When studying Peru, we found out that Peruvians make very colorful bracelets to enhance their friendships. We created them in class. The students were delighted with the activity. The lesson brought many visitors from others classes to our room. See the pictures attached.
How much does the same outfit cost around the world?
-Students Investigated/Compared/Published;
They create a poster comparing the cost of the same outfit in different countries: Peru, the US, Guatemala, and Mexico;
They included: What is the currency in each country? How much does the entire outfit cost? What conclusions can you draw?;
Draw a picture of the entire outfit.
PARTS OF THE BODY
Teacher gave a group of 4 students a word bank with all parts of the body (internal and external) and pieces of clothes. Students created a human-sized poster labeled with pieces of clothes in one half of the body and internal and external parts of the body in the other half.
