About Pathways Learning & Development

Pathways Learning & Development was created to support learners who benefit from individualized, skill-based instruction that meets them where they are and helps them grow with confidence and purpose. Learning is not one-size-fits-all, and every learner follows a unique path shaped by their strengths, needs, goals, and experiences.

I am an NBCT Special Education teacher with advanced training in academic instruction, executive functioning, life skills development, and behavior-informed practices. My work focuses on direct instruction and structured practice that helps learners build meaningful skills across school, home, and community settings. I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education, am a Certified Autism Specialist, and bring a strong background in supporting students across a wide range of learning profiles.

Services at Pathways Learning & Development are grounded in neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based practices. Instruction prioritizes learner autonomy, choice, and dignity while supporting the development of practical skills that promote independence and self-advocacy. Goals are individualized and meaningful, with an emphasis on progress that supports quality of life, not compliance or normalization.

Pathways Learning & Development is an independent educational practice. Services are provided privately and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any school district or nonprofit organization. Instruction is designed to complement, not replace, school-based supports and focuses on building skills learners can use across settings.

At its core, Pathways Learning & Development is about helping learners develop the skills, confidence, and self-understanding they need to navigate learning and life on their own terms, at their own pace.
