Reflections of a Budding Ombuds: The First Two Years (2002)
By Misa Kelly
In this early yet powerful reflection, Misa Kelly shares the inner and outer journey of becoming an ombuds through her first two years at UC Santa Barbara. She begins with self reflection, discusses a review of the literature, and her creative reaction to the review of the literature and what she finds is missing, inviting the Campus Ombuds community to engage.
Observation
I was at the office from 2000-2004. It was volcanic.
In this paper, I define my "real" job as an artist as a "hobby" because at that time, and most of my career, it wasn't a paid gig. It was simply my life work.
I would have been writing 2000-2001.
What was I up to in those years? Oh my goodness, what type of person am I? Hard Working!
