History of Past the Golden Glade

Created in early November of 2023, Past the Golden Glade welcomed in six individuals that worked together in bringing it to life. They are as follows: 

• Founders: Zun and Joelene; initiating development and the main workhorses.

• Administrators/Moderators: Mia and Nexus; main help in brainstorming and developing lore/overall ideas.

• Helpers: Kitten and Adz; assistance with brainstorming and proofreading.

Without these individuals, PGG would be a shadow of what it is today, and we will always be grateful for the help they offered.

In January of 2024, the website for PGG was created and all information for the server was ported over. Within this time, commands and bots were being programmed to ensure the automation of basic server functions and smoothness of operation were being polished.

In late May of 2024, the website and server were nearing completion, with only proofreading and finalization of systems being needed. 

Public Credits

Many different ideas and methods were brought together and used to bring this website and server to life. As a community, we pride ourselves on delivering credit where it is due! 

The artwork you see displayed on this page have their own credits attached to each and every piece in a drop-down menu. Many of these were created by the staff members themselves, and a large amount of them are created off bases purchased from the following artists on their patreons: Kaikree and NorthernRed. If you enjoy what you see and want to create your own pieces, take a look at subscribing to their vast libraries (both are available on patreon)! The home page was made by Mactavish on IStock. 

Most of the writing and formatting of the website lays with Zunrious and Bitterbytes (Jo) . Through JoJo's years of website and server design studying, she has done her best to bring both an engaging and appealing display to you all that is easy to understand and also offer a little bit of everything to folks from all walks of life who might be interested in our little project. 

Lore and worldbuilding is the backbone of any great story, especially a roleplay, that wants to stand on its own like PGG does. Between the minds of Jo, Zunrious, Nexus, and Mia, the story and history of O'shy-e has blossomed into a diverse ecosystem all in its own. Zunrious was the main spearhead and writer in the lore on religions and customs for the world itself. Through him, the deities were given names and faces, all filling a place in their own world tree of balance that he spent many hours designing and creating. The headshot base used for the deity images was created by IfIWasAPlant. And through Zun, the most of the lore came to be.
