Senior Weekend (SW) is an all expenses paid 4-day 3-night trip held in partnership with the bridges coalition, the seven Recruitment and Retention centers (RRC) under bridges. We execute this weekend by inviting newly admitted students of color and we host them under their respective RRC's. Through this weekend we hope to engage and empower the newly admitted students through a series of workshops, newly admit events, and overall community building.

**There is no need to SIR to UC Berkeley to RSVP for Senior Weekend. But if you are invited to this event, and you have already accepted another schools offer, please be mindful that this event is for those who have yet to have make that decision. Though not all RSVP's will get selected to attend Senior Weekend, we hope that if you choose to RSVP you are someone who is still figuring out which school you want to attend**
To get the full college experience, we will be having all newly admitted students stay over at current students' dorms, apartments, etc.
We, of course, as an organization will ensure that those who are housing these students will receive proper training in how to act appropriately around minors and accommodate housing preferences. In addition, this enhances the experience even more since the students get to really see how current UC Berkeley students reside within the university.
**If you are selected to attend Senior Weekend, please make sure to bring a sleeping bag and pillow(s) and blanket(s).**
PASS
Pilipinx Academic Student Services (PASS) is an entirely student-run organization formed in 1985 to address the educational concerns of Pilipinx students in pursuit of higher education. PASS attempts to remedy the lack of representation among the University's student population with respect to the growing Pilipinx population of California. The organization focuses primarily on increasing the educational opportunities available to these students through the implementation of various informational resources, support, and referral services. We provide programs targeted specifically toward the recruitment of high school and community college students, as well as programs for the retention of the University's registered students. PASS endeavors to maintain its commitment to the surrounding communities and to the University through efforts to preserve educational interest.
