Gatherings: Bringing Our Community Together

Great experiences. Meaningful connections. A stronger Spanish Immersion community.

Gatherings are one of the things that make PASI's annual Great Gatherings fundraiser so special. Throughout the year, Spanish Immersion families and staff host activities and experiences that bring our community together while raising funds to support our schools.

From family-friendly adventures to adults-only evenings, there's something for everyone!

What Are Gatherings?

Gatherings are individual events and experiences organized and hosted by Spanish Immersion families and staff.

Each Gathering offers a unique opportunity to connect with others in our Spanish Immersion community. Participants purchase spots to attend, and the proceeds support Parent Advocates for Spanish Immersion (PASI).

Gatherings can be big or small, simple or elaborate. What matters most is creating opportunities for people to come together.

How Do Gatherings Work?

1. Families or staff host.
Spanish Immersion families and staff volunteer to organize an experience, choose a date, and determine how many people can attend.

2. Community members sign up.
Each Gathering has a limited number of available spots. Participants register and pay to attend, with proceeds benefiting PASI.

3. Everyone enjoys the experience!
Gatherings take place throughout the year, giving families opportunities to connect outside the classroom while supporting Spanish Immersion.

Our annual Great Gatherings fundraising event on November 7 is the first opportunity to explore and register for this year's Gatherings. Some experiences are especially popular and fill quickly.

The possibilities are nearly endless! Gatherings don't have to be expensive or complicated. Some of the best experiences are simple activities shared with friends and neighbors.

Build Community
Gatherings help Spanish Immersion families and staff connect, develop friendships, and strengthen relationships beyond the school day.

Support Spanish Immersion
Proceeds help PASI fund our international intern program, teacher grants, scholarships for graduating Spanish Immersion students, and programs that strengthen our Spanish Immersion community.

Every Gathering, regardless of size, contributes to that mission.

Become a Gathering Host!

You don't need to be an experienced event planner or organize something elaborate to host a successful Gathering.

Think about an activity you enjoy, something your family loves doing, or an experience you'd like to share with others. You can host on your own or partner with another family or staff member.
