1. 基本方針

PashNote（以下「本アプリ」）は、写真、メモ、音声、OCR結果、文字起こし、タグ、アルバムなどの記録を、原則として端末内の本アプリ専用領域に保存します。

本アプリは、利用者アカウント、広告配信、利用者を複数のアプリやWebサイトにわたって追跡する機能、開発者が運営するクラウド同期を提供しません。利用者の記録を開発者が運営するサーバーへアップロードする機能はありません。

ただし、OSのバックアップ、iOS・iPadOSの音声認識、AndroidのOCR用SDK、利用者が選択したWeb画像取得や共有・書き出しに伴う通信は、以下に記載するとおりです。

本方針はiOS・iPadOS・Android版に共通して適用されます。利用できる機能、必要な権限、利用するシステムサービスは、OS、端末、アプリのバージョンによって異なります。

2. 本アプリが扱う情報と利用目的

本アプリは、記録の作成、表示、検索、整理、文字認識、文字起こし、共有、バックアップおよび復元のために、利用者が入力または選択した次の情報を扱います。

• メモ本文、記録日、作成・更新日時、タグ、アルバム、お気に入り等

• 撮影・選択・他のアプリから共有した写真とキャプション

• 写真から認識した文字と利用者による修正文

• 録音した音声と文字起こし結果

• 保存したURL、共有されたテキスト、利用者が取得したWebページの画像

• 表示方法などのアプリ設定

• バックアップ・復元の対象となる記録や関連情報

開発者は、これらの記録を広告目的で使用したり、販売したりしません。

3. 権限と写真・ファイルへのアクセス

本アプリは、該当する機能を使用するときに、OS上で必要な権限やアクセス許可を求めます。

• カメラ：写真を撮影するため

• マイク：音声を録音するため

• 写真ライブラリへのアクセス（iOS・iPadOS）：写真を読み込む、または選択した写真を保存するため

• 音声認識（iOS・iPadOS）：録音した音声を文字に変換するため

• 利用者が選択したファイルへのアクセス：バックアップ、復元、書き出し等を行うため

Android版では、写真の取り込みにOSの標準写真選択機能または標準ファイル選択機能を使用します。本アプリは、利用者が選択した写真にアクセスし、端末内の本アプリ専用領域へコピーして保存します。写真の取り込みのために、端末の写真ライブラリ全体への読み取り権限を求めません。元の写真は変更・削除しません。

権限は端末の「設定」から変更できます。任意の権限を拒否した場合も、テキストのみのメモなど、その権限を必要としない機能は利用できます。

4. OCRと音声認識

iOS・iPadOS版

写真の文字認識にはAppleのVisionフレームワークを使用し、端末内で処理します。

音声の文字起こしにはAppleのSpeechフレームワークを使用します。端末と言語が端末内認識に対応している場合、本アプリは端末内での認識を要求します。対応していない場合、認識対象の音声が処理のためAppleへ送信されることがあります。この処理にはAppleの規約およびプライバシー方針が適用されます。

Android版

写真の文字認識にはGoogle ML Kitを使用します。Googleの説明によると、認識対象の画像と認識結果は端末内で処理され、これらの内容はML KitによってGoogleのサーバーへ送信されません。

一方、ML Kitは診断、利用状況の分析、性能の測定、保守・改善、不正利用の検出等のため、端末情報、アプリ情報、インストール単位の識別子、処理時間、API設定、入力・出力サイズ、機能のバージョン、イベントやエラーに関する情報をGoogleへ送信します。SDKの保守等のためにGoogleのサーバーへ接続する場合もあります。Googleは、これらの診断情報をHTTPSで送信すると説明しています。

音声の文字起こしには、Android 13以降の対応する端末内音声認識サービスを使用します。本アプリは、端末内認識が利用できない場合に、サーバーでの音声認識へ切り替えません。OS、認識サービス、言語モデル等の条件を満たさない場合、文字起こしは実行されず、録音は端末内に保持されます。

5. Webページの画像取得（Android版）

利用者が「ページの画像を取得」を選択した場合、本アプリは、選択されたURLのWebページ、そこから参照される画像配信先、および必要な転送先へHTTPSで接続します。

この通信により、接続先にはIPアドレス、要求したURL、接続日時、本アプリを示す通信情報等が伝わります。URLに含まれる文字列やパラメーターも接続先へ送信されます。

この機能は利用者の操作によって実行されます。本アプリは、この取得処理のためにブラウザーに保存されたログイン情報を読み取りません。取得した画像は、利用者がメモを保存した場合、本アプリの記録として端末内に保存します。

接続先での情報の取り扱いには、そのWebサイトや画像配信サービスのプライバシーポリシーが適用されます。

6. 共有、写真保存、書き出し、バックアップと復元

利用者が共有、写真保存、書き出し、またはバックアップを選択した場合、本アプリは対象の記録を、システムの共有先、写真ライブラリ、または利用者が選択した保存先へ渡します。

保存先としてクラウドストレージ等を選択した場合、対象ファイルはそのサービスへ送信されることがあります。共有先や保存先での情報の取り扱いには、その提供者の規約およびプライバシーポリシーが適用されます。

書き出し・バックアップファイルには、選択した機能に応じて、メモ、写真、音声、OCR結果、文字起こし、タグ、アルバム、設定、ゴミ箱内の記録等が含まれる場合があります。利用者が復元するファイルは、記録を本アプリへ取り込むために読み取ります。

本アプリは、独自のクラウド同期を行いません。ただし、OSや端末の設定により、本アプリのデータがシステムのバックアップや端末間移行の対象になることがあります。その処理には、Apple、Google、端末メーカー、または利用者が選択したバックアップサービスの設定と方針が適用されます。

書き出し・バックアップファイルの保管、共有および削除は利用者が管理してください。

7. 保存期間と削除

本アプリ内の記録は、利用者が完全に削除するか、本アプリを端末から削除するまで、原則として端末内に保存されます。ゴミ箱へ移動しただけのメモや写真は、完全削除されるまで復元できます。

ゴミ箱へ移動してから30日以上経過したメモや写真は、自動完全削除の対象となります。メモや写真の完全削除に伴い、それらに関連するアプリ内の音声等も削除対象となります。利用者は30日を待たずに完全削除することもできます。

• iOS・iPadOS版では、30日経過後に本アプリがバックグラウンドへ移る際の削除処理で完全削除します。

• Android版では、30日経過後のバックグラウンド移行時、またはOSが実行する定期的なバックグラウンド処理で完全削除します。

自動削除の実行時刻は、アプリの利用状況、OSの実行制限、端末の状態等によって異なります。30日経過直後の削除を保証するものではありません。

アプリ内の記録を削除したり、本アプリを削除したりしても、写真ライブラリに保存した写真、共有先のコピー、書き出したファイル、既存のバックアップは削除されません。これらは各保存先で別途削除してください。バックアップから復元すると、バックアップに含まれる記録が再び端末内に保存される場合があります。

8. 開発者による収集と情報の保護

開発者は、本アプリの記録を自動的に受信する仕組みを設けていません。また、広告配信、開発者による行動分析、開発者へのクラッシュ情報の自動送信、ソーシャルログインを目的とするSDKは使用していません。

ただし、Android版のGoogle ML Kitによる診断情報等の収集、および本方針に記載したシステムサービスや外部通信は行われます。

本アプリ内の記録は、原則としてOSが管理する本アプリ専用領域に保存します。外部に書き出した記録の保護は、保存先の設定や利用者の管理にも依存します。端末の画面ロックや、共有・バックアップ先のアクセス制限等を適切に設定してください。

9. 問い合わせ情報の取り扱い

利用者がメール等で開発者へ問い合わせる場合、送信されたメールアドレス、本文、添付資料等を、問い合わせへの回答、問題の調査および対応履歴の確認のために使用します。

問い合わせ本文および返信履歴は、対応終了後、原則として2年間保管し、その後削除します。調査のために提供された写真、音声、バックアップファイル、診断ログ等は、原則として調査終了後90日以内に削除します。この削除対象には、問い合わせメールに含まれる添付資料および調査用に保存したコピーも含まれます。

ただし、継続する問題への対応、紛争の解決、または法令上の義務のために必要な場合は、必要な期間に限り保管を延長します。

問題の原因や解決方法は、個人を特定できる情報や利用者の記録を除いた技術資料として保管する場合があります。

問い合わせ情報の削除を希望する場合は、下記の連絡先へご連絡ください。必要に応じて本人確認を行ったうえで、適用される法令および必要な保管理由を踏まえて対応します。

お問い合わせには、対応に必要のない写真、音声、メモ等を含めないでください。メールの送受信や保管には、利用するメールサービスの規約およびプライバシーポリシーも適用されます。

10. 子どものプライバシー

本アプリは、開発者が運営するサービスへのアカウント登録を必要としません。

写真、音声、メモ等には個人情報が含まれる場合があります。保護者を含む利用者は、端末、権限、共有先および書き出し・バックアップファイルを適切に管理してください。外部サービスによる処理については、本方針の各項目をご確認ください。

11. 本方針の変更

機能、利用するサービス、または情報の取り扱いが変わる場合、本方針を更新します。変更後の文面と最終改定日を本ページに掲載し、重要な変更については、必要に応じてアプリ内または配布ページでも告知します。

1. Overview

PashNote (the “App”) generally stores photos, memos, audio, OCR results, transcriptions, tags, albums, and related records in the App’s private storage on your device.

The App does not provide user accounts, advertising, tracking across apps or websites, or developer-operated cloud synchronization. It has no feature that uploads your records to a server operated by the developer.

However, system backups, speech recognition on iOS and iPadOS, the Android OCR SDK, and web image retrieval, sharing, or export you choose may involve external processing or communication as described below.

This policy applies to the iOS, iPadOS, and Android versions. Available features, required permissions, and system services may vary by operating system, device, and app version.

2. Information Handled and Its Purposes

The App handles information you enter or select to create, display, search, organize, recognize text in, transcribe, share, back up, and restore your records. This may include:

• Memo text, record dates, creation and modification dates, tags, albums, and favorites

• Photos captured, selected, or shared from other apps, and their captions

• Text recognized from photos and your edits

• Recorded audio and transcription results

• Saved URLs, shared text, and web page images you retrieve

• App preferences, such as display settings

• Records and related information included in backup and restoration

The developer does not use these records for advertising or sell them.

3. Permissions and Access to Photos and Files

The App requests permissions or access required by the operating system when you use the relevant features:

• Camera: to capture photos

• Microphone: to record audio

• Photo library access on iOS and iPadOS: to import or save selected photos

• Speech Recognition on iOS and iPadOS: to transcribe recorded audio

• Access to files you select: for backup, restoration, export, and related operations

On Android, the App uses the operating system’s standard photo picker or file picker to import photos. It accesses the photos you select and copies them into the App’s private storage on your device. It does not request permission to read your entire photo library for photo import. Original photos are not modified or deleted.

You can change permissions in your device’s Settings. If you deny an optional permission, features that do not require it, such as text-only memos, remain available.

4. OCR and Speech Recognition

iOS and iPadOS

Photo text recognition uses Apple’s Vision framework and runs on your device.

Transcription uses Apple’s Speech framework. When the device and language support on-device recognition, the App requires it. Otherwise, audio being recognized may be sent to Apple for processing. Apple’s terms and privacy policy apply to that processing.

Photo text recognition uses Google ML Kit. Google states that input images and recognition results are processed on-device and that ML Kit does not send their contents to Google servers.

ML Kit sends diagnostic and usage information to Google for purposes including performance measurement, maintenance, improvement, and misuse detection. This includes device information, app information, per-installation identifiers, processing times, API configuration, input and output sizes, feature versions, events, and errors. The SDK may also contact Google servers for maintenance-related purposes. Google states that this diagnostic data is transmitted using HTTPS.

Transcription uses a supported on-device speech recognition service on Android 13 or later. The App does not switch to server-based speech recognition when on-device recognition is unavailable. If the operating system, recognition service, or language model does not meet the requirements, transcription does not run and the recording remains on your device.

5. Web Page Image Retrieval on Android

When you select “Retrieve page image,” the App connects over HTTPS to the selected web page, its referenced image host, and any necessary redirect destinations.

These destinations receive information such as your IP address, requested URL, connection time, and request information identifying the App. Any text or parameters contained in the requested URL are also sent to the destination.

Retrieval occurs at your request. The App does not read login credentials stored in your browser for this operation. If you save the memo, the retrieved image is stored on your device as part of the App’s records.

The websites and image hosting services handle received information under their own privacy policies.

6. Sharing, Photo Saving, Export, Backup, and Restoration

When you choose to share, save photos, export, or create a backup, the App passes the relevant records to the system share destination, your photo library, or a location you select.

If you select cloud storage or a similar service, the files may be uploaded to that service. The receiving app or storage provider handles them under its own terms and privacy policy.

Depending on the feature selected, exported or backup files may contain memos, photos, audio, OCR results, transcriptions, tags, albums, settings, and records in Trash. Files you select for restoration are read to import records into the App.

The App does not provide its own cloud synchronization. However, operating system or device settings may allow App data to be included in system backups or device transfers. These operations are governed by the settings and policies of Apple, Google, your device manufacturer, or another backup service you choose.

You are responsible for storing, sharing, and deleting exported and backup files.

7. Retention and Deletion

App records generally remain on your device until you permanently delete them or remove the App. Memos and photos moved to Trash can be restored until permanently deleted.

Memos and photos that have remained in Trash for at least 30 days become eligible for automatic permanent deletion. Associated audio and other App data also become subject to deletion when the relevant memo or photo is permanently deleted. You can permanently delete items sooner.

• On iOS and iPadOS, deletion occurs during cleanup when the App enters the background after the 30-day period.

• On Android, deletion occurs when the App enters the background or during periodic background processing scheduled by the operating system after the 30-day period.

The actual deletion time depends on App usage, operating system execution restrictions, and device conditions. Deletion immediately upon reaching 30 days is not guaranteed.

Deleting App records or removing the App does not delete photos saved to your photo library, copies held by share recipients, exported files, or existing backups. Delete these separately at their respective destinations. Restoring a backup may place records contained in that backup on your device again.

8. Developer Collection and Information Protection

The developer has no mechanism to automatically receive your App records. The App does not use SDKs for advertising, developer-operated behavioral analytics, automatic crash reporting to the developer, or social login.

However, Google ML Kit on Android collects diagnostic and related information, and the system services and external communications described in this policy may occur.

Records are generally stored in the App’s private storage managed by the operating system. Protection of exported records also depends on the destination’s settings and your management of those files. Use appropriate device locks and access restrictions for sharing and backup destinations.

9. Handling of Support Inquiries

If you contact the developer by email or another method, your email address, message, and attachments are used to respond to your inquiry, investigate the issue, and review the support history.

Inquiry messages and replies are generally retained for two years after the inquiry is closed and then deleted. Photos, audio, backup files, diagnostic logs, and similar materials provided for investigation are generally deleted within 90 days after the investigation ends. This includes attachments in inquiry emails and copies saved for investigation.

Retention may be extended only as necessary to address an ongoing issue, resolve a dispute, or comply with legal obligations.

Technical findings and solutions may be retained after removing personally identifying information and user records.

To request deletion of inquiry information, please contact the address below. Requests will be handled after verifying your identity when necessary and considering applicable laws and any necessary retention grounds.

Please do not include photos, audio, memos, or other information unnecessary for your inquiry. The terms and privacy policies of the email services used also apply to email transmission and storage.

10. Children’s Privacy

The App does not require registration for a developer-operated service.

Photos, audio, and memos may contain personal information. Users, including parents or guardians, should appropriately manage devices, permissions, share destinations, and exported or backup files. Please refer to the relevant sections of this policy for external service processing.

11. Changes to This Policy

This policy will be updated when features, services, or information practices change. The revised text and updated date will be published on this page. Material changes will also be announced in the App or on its distribution page when appropriate.
