I am particularly enthusiastic about our beautiful landscape. I spend a great amount of time in the mountains, either skiing in winter or hiking in summer. Besides that, I love being active and doing different kinds of sports. 

I am a passionate football (it's soccer) fan and played it myself for more than 12 years; now I rather focus on supporting my childhood club, which unfortunately is still lacking behind its past glory. Still, these interests sometimes even find way into my research activities (sports data are a unique setting to study human behavior). 

In my spare time, I also love to read. Since I have the privilege of reading and studying high-level academic literature and books on a daily basis, I tend to dive into other worlds (apparently there is one) and prefer fictional books in my free time.
