I am an experimental condensed matter device physicist by training. My interest lies in observing various  physical phenomena in low dimensional material systems. I earned my MSc in Physics from University of Delhi. Thereafter, I worked at IIT Delhi as a CSIR junior research fellow, before moving to University of Cincinnati, USA for my PhD in Electrical Engineering specializing in semiconductor spintronics and cryogenic physics. Post PhD I worked at University of Groningen, The Netherlands as postdoctoral researcher. Presently, I am an Associate Professor in Physics at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka-Surathkal, India.

I am an epicure of Pink Floyd, Dire Straits and Bob Marley. If not a physicist, I would probably make a journalist.
