Other notable programs at these hospitals include ER volunteering at maternity ward arts & crafts volunteering. I have heard that the programs at Bayview are less competitive, as fewer students think to apply outside Baltimore City.Â

To get to Mercy, you can take the JHMI Shuttle or Purple Circulator and get off at the Mt. Vernon stop, then walk a couple of blocks to the center downtown. Always remember to be aware of your surroundings when walking, especially if crossing streets or walking alone.
