28 March 2020 In these uncertain times the choir is currently in hiatus. Rehearsals have ceased, the workshop with the Chamber Choir was cancelled and indeed all activities at The Hall have been curtailed until further notice.

25 June 2020 Some restrictions have been eased in the province however activities at The Hall still remain suspended so the choir has not met, nor is likely to in the foreseeable future. Research and empirical evidence into the hazards of viral transmission while singing in a chorale, even given substantial spacing, is not conclusive one way or the other. At the moment it would appear that we will remain 'stood down' until hard evidence proves it is safe to reassemble, or a vaccine/cure is discovered and becomes widely available.
