Park Blitz is about having fun outside together. These rules keep it safe and friendly for everyone. Hosts: please read the safety tips out loud before a game.
Kids should play with an adult watching. Agree on boundaries and a meeting spot before you start. In Hide & Seek, a parent can also join the game in the app as a grown-up watcher (the host lets them in), and players can choose to share their spot with them.
Stay away from roads, parking lots, bike paths, water, and anywhere closed or private.
Watch out for cars, bikes and other people. Don't run while looking at your phone.
Follow the park's rules and opening hours. Leave plants and animals alone.
Don't hide anywhere you could get stuck, hurt or locked in.
Never take photos of people for tasks. Only film people if they say OK.
Don't film while running, and never show where you live or go to school.
Stop the game if anyone gets hurt, lost or upset, or if the weather turns bad.
Wear sun protection, bring water, and take breaks.
Be kind. Teasing the seekers is fun; bullying, threats and name-calling are not allowed.
Keep it PG. No swearing, nudity, sexual content, gore, drugs, alcohol, weapons, or anything scary or hateful. Nicknames never have bad words. Only players 18 and up may swear in typed chat, and it's hidden from anyone with the bad-word filter on (always on under 18). Slurs and hateful words are never allowed.
Nothing dangerous. No stunts, climbing high things, or hiding near roads or water.
Keep private things private. No full names, addresses, schools, phone numbers, emails, social media names, links or car plates.
Only share people who said OK, and kids under 13 only with their parent's OK.
Only share your own stuff, including music you have the right to use.
No ads or spam.
Use Report on any message, picture, place or ad, and hold a player's name to block them. Breaking these rules can get your content removed and your sharing turned off.
Hunter chat follows the same kindness and privacy rules as Game chat. Children use fixed Quick Chat phrases and stickers; typing stays 13+ with filters. There are no photos, videos or voice. Players can report or block; two reports hide a message. Parent and host chat-off switches still apply. Hunters can send at most one message every two seconds. Only current, approved hunters have access; changing teams or leaving changes access immediately. Hunters may read after play ends, and a new round starts a fresh conversation. After a round ends, the host can change their own team to hunter and then read that finished round's hunter history, even if they played as a hider.
Only players 13 and up can send us clips, and the app never uploads them.
Before posting, we get written permission from everyone shown, and from a parent or guardian for anyone under 18.
We never post names, schools, locations (including which park) or anything private, and we keep it PG.
We credit people by first name or nickname only, and only with their permission (or not at all).
We don't post clips that show anyone under 13 unless a parent gave written consent.
We keep clips sent to us only as long as needed and delete the ones we don't post.
Anyone, including a parent or a person shown in a picture or clip, can ask us to remove content. Email parkblitz@outlook.com with what it is, where it is (the game code, or where a clip is posted) and how to reach you.
Intimate images shared without consent (TAKE IT DOWN Act): include your contact details, a description of the image or video and where it is, a statement that it was shared without your consent, and your signature (typing your name is fine). We remove it and any copies we know of within 48 hours of a valid request.
Clips we posted: we take them down within 48 hours of your request.
Child safety: apparent child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as US law requires, then removed.
