Sharing Info & Advice about Earthquake Safety in Schools

P4P Lessons Learned

Why earthquakes?

We focus on earthquakes because the Pacific Northwest is expecting a rupture of the Cascadia Subuction Zone fault. It will produce a M8.0-9.5 earthquake off the coast and impact the entire region. But the work we do helps us prepare schools for many types of disasters, including flood, fire, and other impacts from the climate crisis.
