In 2010 my friend and colleague Markus was visiting from northern Germany (He does not like his picture taken). So over the weekend we went to the races in Brainerd. This time I took my wife's Jeep GC SRT8 to the track -- I don't know why we didn't take the Chevelle -- maybe I was working on it. Anyway It ran in the 13s at 100.05 MPH -- still have the timeslip. This car, being faster than the Chevelle, irritated me for a while. But, since the Fast Cop group was there (you can race their fox body Mustang) I got the 100 MPH T-Shirt. So I have that going for me.
At the SRT Track Experience. I'm just getting out of the Viper after a full speed run, and that's Cita driving the autocross section of the course. She also ran with the SRT8 Jeeps in 3-deep-FBI style around the track.
A few shots of the Chevelle at Brainerd International Raceway in 2011. Pics include the Chevy passing tech, on the starting line, and then smokin' em off the line. The Chevy had an open diff at the time so the one-wheel wonder didn't get all that great of a launch. This issue has since been rectified.
