MONDAVI CENTER- On November 4, LeVar Burton of Star Trek, Roots, and Reading Rainbow fame spoke to a crowd gathered in UC Davis' Mondavi Center. He talked about his family's love of reading, his experiences with storytelling, and in a Q&A, he compared the inhumanity and detachment of President Trump to that of a slave owner.
