I was elected as a student council member in Grade 6, I am a Safe School ambassador and I am a Peer Helper. I have experience as a leader and I know I have the skills and assets to be a successful president.

Goals

I want to make changes that actually impact students in a positive way. My main priority is to bridge the gap between students and Leadership. Setting up a box where students can put in suggestions and by keeping my ears open to all suggestions.

Experience

I am going to be honest- I have never been in a position of office. However, due to my experience of being an outcast of those I grew up with throughout my childhood, I can connect with kids who feel like they don't fit in on a level that many other people wouldn't be able to.

Goals

I think that kids having a safe environment to learn and be themselves is an imperative part of growing up. I think that having gender neutral bathrooms on campus that are accessible to students and near classrooms that are somewhat easy to get to would be a good way to make kids feel comfortable, and if they are confused as to who they are, that may make them feel safer. I have other unrelated ideas that I would like to voice, but I will save that for later.

I have never had experience with being a treasurer before or being a student body representative, but I like math and working with numbers.

Goals

My main goal is that I would like to be able to have more fundraisers so we can have more students activities, but I would also like to learn how to manage, raise, and spend money efficiently and effectively.
