Founding Team

Taru Malhotra (me=Founder)

I am an Educator, passionate about STEM and Engineering Education in K-20. My PhD (Language, Culture & Teaching) focused on instructor beliefs, attitudes around technology, and practices in STEM and non-STEM blended courses. My M.Ed (Technology and Literacy) and Graduate Diploma in Early childhood Education focused on teacher's use of technology in primary classrooms. 

I love designing active learning engaging STEM courses for K-20 classrooms. My research on STEM Educator's beliefs and practices, my postdoc and works as an Engineering Education Developer and my works as a teacher educator and STEM Educator has inspired me to advocate for STEM Education in girls early on so as to reduce gender disparity in STEM fields later on.
