Whether you have lived here for years or are a brand new resident, we want to thank you for joining us. The neighborhood association is a way for neighbors to come together and get to know one another through monthly meetings and service projects such as alleyway and community garden cleanups. Together, we can work towards a safe, welcoming environment for all.
We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7pm. Our meetings are designed to be informative and to help our residents learn about a variety of subjects.
Our dues help support our community garden, which is the heart of our neighborhood. If you would like to start a plot or participate in workdays, we are always happy to have extra help! Let us know and we will put you in touch with Tom, who runs the garden. The garden address is 2519 3rd Ave South.
As a paid member, you are eligible to vote for our board of directors, and/or join the board if you so choose. Please let us know if you are interested in joining the board, or if you would like to help us start a committee to focus on a particular item. We are in the process of forming new committees to assist in various efforts such as at the garden, routine trash clean up days, the City’s annual CareFest event, and educational outreach, to name a few. Please let us know if you would like to help with any of these or if you have an idea for a committee.
