I am interested in deciphering the cellular and developmental resolution of complex diseases such as cancer, with a particular emphasis on the non-coding genome.
My current research focuses on implementing statistical genomics frameworks and leveraging genomic foundation models along with other machine learning and AI methods to investigate the non-coding regions of the human genome, as well as the evolutionary mechanisms shared with closely related species.
As I conclude my thesis, I am excited to apply my expertise to further develop and optimize approaches for understanding the genomic basis of complex disorders, with a focus on personalized genomics.
Stay tuned!
