Dissertation Research
Methods and analysis pipelines to identify tissue specific transcript variants, decipher their role in cancer, variants enriched and finally, understand their genomic language. Stat-genomics and ML/DL-AI tools will be implemented to cater to this goal.
Collaborative Projects with other labs to develop analysis pipelines and implement methods for single-cell/bulk deconvolution methods, raw sequencing data analysis (ATAC, ChIP, RNA, snRNA-seq) to understand experiment conditions in human/mouse samples.

Master’s Thesis
Naturally occurring variants modify neurodevelopmental phenotypes.
A pilot 2-hit genetic screen using Drosophila melanogaster was used to study 16p11.2 chromosomal location genes by tracking changes in eye phenotypes.
Significant SNPs and sex-biased interactions reported by GWAS.

Undergraduate Research (06.18–06.19)
RBPs role in skeletal muscle development.
Data curation of RNA binding proteins (RBPs) related to muscle development in Drosophila melanogaster.
Further, tracked the skeletal muscle defects caused by RBPs using genetic knockdown experiments and behavioral assays.
