OUR STORY
Florida. Asia. Palau
Palau Escape's founder, Joseph Gugliemelli's journey started with a love for the ocean sparked in Miami. Guided by his mother, annual trips to Florida's Key West deepened his fascination. From taking his first dive at 14 to becoming an instructor by 2015, he was embracing Okinawa's waters at every opportunity he could find. But it was in Palau where Joe eventually found family and his true passion. With support from Palauan connections and the mentorship of diving legend Francis Toribiong, Joe left the military to share Palau's treasures, crafting personalized tours that embody Palau's spirit of escape, connection, and authenticity.
