Abraham Corrales is a Watsonville High School graduate attended the University of California at Davis. He majored in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and plans to pursue graduate work to get his advanced degrees as a doctor so an MD and a researcher so a Ph. D. degree. He minored in Chicano studies at UC Davis.
Abraham describes challenges in transitioning from high school to a university environment. He was accepted into a summer research program (CURE) and at the National Institute of Health (NIH) which boosted his confidence, and he is soon to graduate from UC Davis.
