Bio

Who I Am

My name is Paige Mitchell. I currently work at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.

I was born in Burlington, a small river town in Southeast Iowa. I attended the University of Iowa, and graduated with two degrees (History and Art History) and a certificate in Museum Studies. In 2020, I earned my Master's in Heritage Studies & Public History at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. 

I am an activist scholar interested in Museum Studies, Indigeneity, Exhibition & Representation, Social Justice, Institutional History and more! 

My interests have led me to pursue a variety of projects; from oral histories to websites to exhibits.

I currently live in the New York City metro area!
