2026 State Championship Tournament dates to come
Everyone is invited. We will supply a lunch for the shooters, their family and friends. We will shoot 4 rounds on our designated day along with about 1,000 other shooters from across the state. The Shooting Park in Alexandria will host over 10,000 shooters in the 9-day tournament making it the world’s largest trap shooting tournament.

“Congratulations to SSP graduate Boone Johnson for tying for first place at the MSHSL State Clay Target Tournament! Boone shot a perfect 100 and will be moving on to Nationals on July 7, 2021 in Michigan! Way to go!”

Nationals 2021 -
Boone Johnson attended Nationals this weekend and shot 194/200! He placed 53 out of 406 attendees. We are so proud of Boone and his accomplishments this season; it has been so much fun coaching him and seeing him achieve these accomplishments! What a way to end his senior year at SSPHS!!
It was extremely exciting to watch Boone go all the way last season and shoot a straight 100!! In 2022, he came back as a team coach!!
