Pack 793 is run completely by volunteers. However, there are costs associated with being a Cub Scouts. We live the Scout Law by being 'Thrifty' by being good stewards of our finances.
There are three main costs associated with being a Cub Scout.

The registration fee is an annual expense that families pay to the national Scouting America program, on the anniversary of their initial registration.
The money is used for overhead like insurance, safety, program development, digital platforms, and camp upkeep.

Pack 793 charges annual dues to help cover the costs of running our program. We usually collect funds by the end of October. Our biggest expenses are supplies for Pack Events and awards for advancement.

Pack 793 has several camp outs throughout the year. We keep our family camps low-cost. Events like the 4-day summer resident camp run by Chief Seattle Council have a higher cost. These expenses are completely optional.
Family Camp: $15/person (for food)
Camp Halloween: $35/scout
Summer Resident Camp: $375/scout
