A few days after you submit a youth application, either paper or electronic, your Scout will be registered with Pack 717.  Longhorn Council regularly syncs their records with Scoutbook, the program we use to communicate with families and track your Scout's advancement.  When that happens, you'll receive an email asking you to connect to your Scout's account.  It's very important that you open that email and follow the instructions.

We have a private Facebook group for families only. This group is where we post photos, event reminders, share events, and more!  You need to be invited to this group by a member.  For the privacy of our Scouts, we are very careful about who we provide access to.  You are welcome to invite grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents, etc.  Please let us know in advance by sending us an email at webmaster.pack717@gmail.com - that way we don't deny them access.  Join us there when you can!

Our pack also has a Facebook page where we post to tell the community what we are up to.  Be sure to check us out there!

For all our communications, besides email, we have our own discord server.

When you join, we will send you a link so that you can join the server.  This is used for 99% of all communications, with the 1% being emails.
