The Lion program forms a strong foundation for a lifetime of fun and meaningful family adventures. There are 12 adventures in the Lion program. Five adventures are required for the Lion to earn the Lion badge. The required adventures help youth explore important Scouting ideas. The remaining seven adventures and the preview adventure are known as elective adventures. Each adventure is designed to help your child have fun and learn useful things.
It is not expected that youth will complete all of the adventures. There is no required order for the adventures; however, it is recommended that dens complete the Lion's Honor adventure first. Dens should use local climate and other considerations to determine the best order of delivery of the adventures.
