In September 2009, seven families from Eagle Ridge Elementary School started Cub Scout Pack 717 in Fort Worth, Texas. The Pack's founding Cubmasters (Scott Goldsberry, and Doug Ogden) were searching for a Charter Organization to host our Pack when Maria Starns recommended Christ's Haven for Children.
Pack 717 has grown from the original 8 scouts to more than 50! We have scouts from elementary schools in both Northwest ISD and Keller ISD. Since 2009 we have had over 14 crossover ceremonies and many of our Cub Scouts have gone onto Boy Scouts and achieved their Eagle Scout Rank.
