The Cub Scout activities that you do with your den, pack, and family are called Adventures. Each Adventure has several requirements to complete that Adventure. You'll have fun completing the requirements with your den, pack, and family. This program, tailored for 10-year-olds, offers a mix of activities focused on outdoor skills, personal fitness, citizenship, personal safety, and family values. The Webelos program is all about preparing Cubs for the next step in scouting by teaching them new skills, encouraging independence, and fostering respect for themselves and others.
When you complete an Adventure, you are awarded a special metal Adventure Pin. You attach your Adventure Pins onto your Adventure Colors or onto your Webelos cap.
Most of your Adventures you do will be with your Webelos Den in your den meetings. Pack 654 also has some large group activities that will help you earn some Adventures. Finally, you can complete other Adventures at home with your family.
To earn the Webelos badge of rank:
Complete each of the six required adventures.
Bobcat - Character & Leadership
Webelos Walkabout - Outdoors
Stronger, Faster, Higher - Personal Fitness
My Community - Citizenship
My Safety - Safety/First Aid
My Family - Family & Reverence
In addition to the six required adventures, complete at least two elective adventures of your den’s or family’s choosing.
