Melissa is a longtime resident of the southern Houston area and attended San Jacinto College. She currently works as the Director of Administrative Operations for a local mortgage company.

A lifelong crafter and creative spirit, Melissa enjoys painting, fiber arts, and finding new projects to tackle.

Melissa's Cub Scout journey began when her son joined as a Lion, and her involvement grew even more when her daughter joined as a Lion in 2025. With both of her children now in scouting, she loves helping build a pack where scouts can explore new interests, gain confidence, and create memories that will last long after their scouting years are over.

Jesse grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and Boise, Idaho, attending the University of Idaho and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in 2007.  He then moved to Houston to work as a Flight Controller for NASA's International Space Station.  He now works in management, in charge of Program Integration for Flight Operations with the ISS and Commercial Low Earth Orbit programs.

Jesse participated in Cub Scouts as a kid and is excited to share the values of scouting with his son, Ian, born in 2017.  Jesse enjoys being in the outdoors and looks forward to opportunities to share adventures with the scouts.

Lions participate in Cub Scouting with their Adult Partners.  They take part in Pack activities and Den meetings are led by the parents of the Den, with support from Pack leadership.
