Throughout the year, Scouts and their families will have opportunities to participate in a variety of activities designed to make Scouting fun, engaging and meaningful. Our events generally fall into three categories:
Council Events
Council events are larger Scouting events organized by the Greater Hudson Valley Council and bring together Scouts and families from Packs across our area. These events are a great opportunity to experience the larger Scouting community, meet Scouts from other Packs and participate in activities beyond our regular Pack program.
All Scout families are welcome to attend the events.
Pack Events
Pack events are organized specifically for Pack 371 Scouts and families. These activities bring all of our dens together and are often designed around specific Scouting Adventures, advancement requirements or simply having fun together as a Pack.
Pack events may include outdoor activities, camping, community service, Pinewood Derby, special celebrations, field trips and other activities throughout the year.
Den Events
Den events are smaller activities planned specifically for Scouts within an individual den. Den Leaders coordinate these activities to complement den meetings and help Scouts work toward adventures and advancement requirements appropriate for their grade level.
Together, Council, Pack and Den events give Scouts opportunities to learn new skills, explore new experiences, build friendships and make progress along their Scouting journey.
