Why We Fundraise

Fundraising is an important part of making Scouting possible — and making it fun!

The money raised by Pack 371 helps us provide Scouts with activities, adventures and experiences while keeping the direct cost to our families as reasonable as possible.

Where Does the Money Go?

Funds raised throughout the year help support things like:

• Camping and outdoor adventures

• Pinewood Derby cars, track supplies and event expenses

• Raingutter Regatta supplies

• Adventure and advancement activities

• Awards, recognition and Scout advancement

• Equipment and supplies used by the Pack

• Other special experiences throughout the year

Fundraising Is Part of the Scouting Experience

Fundraising isn't just about raising money. It gives Scouts an opportunity to participate in supporting their own Scouting experience while building confidence, communication skills, responsibility and teamwork.

We encourage every family to participate. When everyone contributes, even a little, it makes a big difference.

The more successful our fundraising efforts are, the more we can invest back into activities and experiences for our Scouts.
