Pinewood Derby

The Pinewood Derby is one of the signature events of Cub Scouting. Scouts and adults work together to build cars for speed, looks, and fun!

The Pack 343 Pinewood Derby is scheduled for February 7, 2026. Our top five finishers move on to the Lackawanna District Pinewood Derby on March 1. 

Cars for our Pack race will be distributed in December, and we'll have clinics to help design, cut, and assemble cars in January. Car inspection and registration will occur at den meetings on February 4, 2026.
