First, WEBELOS stands for WE BE LOyal Scouts

The WEBELOS program really starts to get serious on camping skills in order to prepare the Cubscouts to become Scouts BSA. Cooking over fire and full on first aid are some of the highlights of this rank. Webelos and AOL ranks share the elective adventures, which can include building a shelter with natural materials and other survival skills.
