Four(4) adult football officials are assigned to tackle football games.
Three(3) adult and youth officials to Contact Flag games.
One(1) adult or youth official for Flag games.
The Pacific Youth Football League is proud to partner with Ref Corps, Evergreen Football Officials Association (EFOA), Portland Football Officials Association (PFOA) and Salem Football Officials Association (SFOA).
Interested in becoming a football official? As per PFOA, "We're always looking for good people who love football and want to provide outstanding experiences for athletes in our area. Officiating requires consistently applying a high degree of integrity, excellent judgement, clear communication, and the courage to do what’s right." As per SFOA, " Our mission is to provide well-trained, professional officials to all of our programs. If you enjoy sports and football in particular, you should expect to have a great experience officiating football...".
