Athletes, Coaches, and Parents/Guardians who wish to scratch preliminary event(s) and time finals (swum in finals) must complete this digital scratch form. A confirmation email will be sent once the scratch has been received. Please save this email as proof of scratching and bring it to the administrative office if seeded into the event.
Please remember there is a maximum of 3 events per day and 7 events total. Mandatory scratches will be made if swimmer does not scratch down voluntarily.
The scratch deadline will be the following:
Friday preliminary session will be Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM
Saturday preliminary session will be Friday, March 20, 2026, 30 minutes after the start of Friday Finals session. Including Event 109/110 11-12 400 IM time final.
Sunday preliminary sessions will be Saturday, March 21, 2026, 30 minutes after the start of Saturday Finals session.
The penalty for failure to compete in an individual preliminary heat in which such athlete is entered ("No Show") and has not been scratched is to be barred from their next preliminary event not including distance.
If a swimmer forgets to scratch, they may declare a false start (DFS) at the administrative office prior to the session starting or at the officials corner after the session starts. DFS will avoid penalty scratches but the event will count as one of their chosen events.
