Athletes, Coaches, and Parents/Guardians who wish to scratch final event(s) must complete this digital scratch form. A confirmation email will be sent once the scratch has been received. Please save this email as proof of scratching and bring it to the administrative office if seeded into the event. Timed final events need to be scratched in the preliminary session scratch form.
Any Athlete qualifying for a Championship Final (One for each age group 10&U, 11, 12, 13, and 14) in an individual event who does not wish to compete shall Scratch within 30 minutes after the announcement of qualifiers.
During this period, qualifiers may also notify the admin official that they may not intend to compete in a Championship Final. If so, please choose "Intend to Scratch". In this case they shall declare their final intention within 30 minutes after the announcement of qualifiers last individual Preliminary Event.
In a Preliminaries & Finals meet any Athlete qualifying for a Championship Final race in an individual event who fails to show up in said Championship Final race prior to calling the alternate shall be barred from remainder of final events for that day. If no other final events, barred from their next preliminary event. If the No-Show occurs on the last day that the Athlete is entered in an individual final event in the meet, and no other individual event penalty is applicable, the Athlete shall then be fined $100.00. The fine shall be increased to $150.00 if after 30 days of receiving the letter of notification the party has not made the payment.
NOTE: Real-Time Finals Heat sheets for each day will be posted on the home page. Potential alternates and other swimmers can view if they are "bumped" into finals based on scratches. These swimmers are not liable for No-Show penalties.
