The Association of Radio Amateurs (V.R.Z.A.) is an association for radio amateurs that was founded on November 23, 1951. The VRZA aims to promote radio amateurism and to represent the interests of its members. The association was founded as a split from VERON, because there was dissatisfaction with the broad course chosen by VERON.

De Vereniging voor Experimenteel Radio Onderzoek Nederland (VERON) is op 21 oktober 1945 opgericht ter bevordering van de beoefening van amateur-radiocommunicatie en het hiermee verband houdende experimenteel radio- en elektronica-onderzoek.
