In a quest to create equal playing opportunities for girls and boys across the world, for all positions of rugby, this event promises to be an exciting showcase of elite and up and coming rugby talent, and an opportunity to be seen and selected for the Rugby Tens Championship (November), the High-Performance Residence Program, Colleges, and Professional and National Teams pathways. USA Rugby High Performance and USA Youth & High School Rugby, launch an expansion to the pathway program for American high school-aged players. This groundbreaking initiative aims to revolutionize player development in American rugby, leveraging cutting-edge technology and world-class coaching methodologies.
The application process is the first step. Players who apply are not automatically ‘selected’ for the HS Pathway, but instead are enrolled to begin the process of progressive evaluation, over several months, generally:
